HBO cancels “Luck”

Namaste,

sad news reached my eyes & ears: Luck, a TV Show about horseracing by HBO got cancelled due to the third death of a horse. The statement said that “It is with heartbreak that executive producers David Milch and Michael Mann together with HBO have decided to cease all future production on the series ‘Luck’ ”.

I really like the show and it’s very sad that the show got cancelled, but it is clear that you can’t realize a show when accidents like this happen too often. All in all three horses died during the production and it’s a good hearted sign from the producers to cancel the show. The last episodes will still air, so we can all enjoy a few last minutes with blockbuster heavyweights Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte.

Anyway, Game Of Thrones and Mad Men are near, so the world of good TV Shows is still in balance.
